Luis ‘Perla’ colabora desde 2007 con su amigo y rapero, Darmo, como vocalista, haciendo las segundas voces y los coros de un potente directo que no deja indiferente a nadie. Fue precisamente su aparición en el videoclip “Mantenlo Ilegal”, de Darmo, lo que le abrió las puertas al mundo de la interpretación.

Luis ‘Perla’ has been doing choruses and second voices for his rapper friend, Darmo, since 2007, who has such a powerful delivery in live concerts that no one is left indifferent. As a matter of fact, Perla’s debut performance in Darmo’s “Mantenlo Ilegal” videoclip is what brought him the opportunity to start an acting career.

Tras ver el videoclip, los productores de la serie de Antena 3 “Los protegidos”, le ofrecieron la posibilidad de participar en un casting. Y así surgió ‘Culebra’, un chico curtido en orfanatos y centros de acogida que tiene el poder de la invisibilidad. Actualmente, graba la tercera temporada de la serie que se emitirá próximamente en Antena 3.

‘Culebra’ ha permitido que la popularidad de Luis se dispare y así, le surgen las primeras ofertas para cine.

After seeing the videoclip, the producers of Antena3 TV series “Los protegidos”, gave him the opportunity to audition. And ‘Culebra’ was born. A young man raised in orphanages and children shelters who has the power of becoming invisible. At present, he is recording the serie’s third season which will soon be aired on Antena 3.

‘Culebra’ made Luis so popular that soon the first offers for roles in feature films started coming his way.

Su primer papel en cine le llega con “Tres metros sobre el cielo” (3MSC), donde trabaja junto a Mario Casas y Maria Valverde y que fue la película más vista en 2010.

Su segundo largometraje “XP3D”, dirigida por Sergi Vizcaíno y producida por Rodar y Rodar, se estrenará a finales de diciembre de 2011. En ella, Lucho comparte protagonismo con Amaia Salamanca, Maxi Iglesias y Úrsula Coberó, entre otros.

En otoño 2011, Lucho formará parte del elenco de “Tengo ganas de ti” (la segunda parte de 3MSC) que continuará la historia de 3MSC dos años después.

Lucho ganó el Premio al Mejor Actor Revelación en la pasada edición de los “Premios Must”, colabora con la marca AXE como miembro del Comité de experto en seducción y, habitualmente, colabora en diversas campañas solidarias.

Lucho es como le conocen en su entorno privado, sus familiares, sus amigos…
